I don’t understand this. In the UK it’s the responsibility of the parent/guardian(s) to ensure a student attends school whilst under the compulsory school age and they’re the ones that are punished through the legal system, not the student. How can the American legal system justify putting a student into jail who missed school due to ill health? I must’ve missed something here/not have the full picture because this just doesn’t make any sense at all.

It feels really weird that I’m going to be 20 in 2 months. It honestly feels like there is SO much I haven’t done yet that I thought I would have by now.
I have 2 months to do a few things that I still want to then I need to grow the fuck up lol.
I kinda want to make a promise to myself that once I am 20…I will never touch hard drugs again. Not that I do them often at all but still, I just want one thing that I can promise myself I’ll never do again.
25 and still enjoying being immature, why would you want to grow up before you have to?
